Andy: Rain and climbing don't mix, so its off to the big city to run some errands and check out the sites. Some housekeeping (dead flies to vacuum), shopping, van fixing (I'm obsessed with the vibrations) and .... it's only 3pm in the afternoon. What should we do now? Let's go visit Shoshone Falls on the Snake river, near Twin Falls, Idaho. Bigger and grander than Niagara Falls! Should be awesome. Very exciting indeed..... the photos tell the story.
Wendy: At least we're clean! I'm amazed about the number of showers I have taken for granted in my past...a rainy night spent at a hotel makes you recognize how hard it is to get a good cleaning from the van shower. We had a yummy meal at the local bar/steakhouse, and otherwise spent the day messing around and doing errands. One week ago today I was finishing up with a job I could not imagine being without...today it feels farther away than ever, and we're having fun we could never have predicted. Perspective can change in a short period of time.
