Andy: Yeeha, surf's up. There's a great play hole about 30 minutes from Hokitika on the Arahura river. Me, Chris, and Wendy had a great day enjoying the sun, surf, and crystal clear water. Lots of spins, enders, carthweels, "unintendos" (things you didn't intend to happen), and many, many flips! Nothing beats a good day of park and play in the sun.
Wendy: I thought my shoulder was better, and eagerly jumped into the wave. One short hour of side surfing and riding, and my shoulder was bugging me again. I became the team photographer and sand-fly killer. Looks like a rest-week is in store for me.
