Andy: Ian woke up to find two big cracks in his rented kayak. That explained the three gallons of water collecting in his boat each day. So off he went for a 5 hour round trip drive to swap kayaks - hopefully for one that was more water tight!
Steve, Wendy, and I did a nice 2 hour bush hike into Lake Mahinapua.
That was the highlight of the day. The low point? Yucky take-a-way
Fish and Chips. Fried food is our nemesis in New Zealand.
