Andy: A full day of Queenstown adrenalin activities. Queenstown is the adrenalin capital of New Zealand, and in a single day you can do any crazy activity your heart desires including throwing yourself from an airplane, bungee jumping from a bridge, downhill mountain biking thousands of feet, hang gliding, etc.
We started off the day kayaking a fun play run on the Kawarau river. On the way down the river we passed under a bungee jumping bridge, so OF COURSE on the drive back we needed to bungee jump as well!
Diana (a previous coworker at Webshots) and her husband Andy are staying with us in Queenstown, so we all piled into the sky gondola to alpine luge high above Queenstown.
Wendy: Andy is sick of me calling him a chicken because he didn't bungy jump last time we were in New Zealand. We stood on the bridge watching people jump for a few minutes, and then I asked him to find out how much it cost. Next thing I knew, he was signed up and ready to go! He said it wasn't scarey, but when I did it 2 years ago I was so scared I was shaking for 4 hours afterwards! By the time Steve and I went in to inquire about jumping, a busload of tourists had come and the wait was too long. Oh well, another day...
