Andy: Something occurred to me while kayaking today. We've kayaked 40 days since arriving in New Zealand, and we've only come across 3 other groups of kayakers on the river. It's magical, every day a new river completely to ourselves.

Boated the Hurunui river, which is 2 hours north of Christchurch (biggest city on the South Island). It's a fun class III play run, very similar to the SF American run near San Francisco. Of course, unlike the SF American, we were the only ones on the river! Magic.
Steve and Andy - we couldn't resist the head to head racing car video game.
