Andy: Another "only in New Zealand" activity - caving. A 300 foot rappel put us deep into the dark passages of the Lost World cave. We then spent the next 5 hours swimming, squirming, and climbing our way out. The best part was when we turned our headlamps off and spent 10 minutes wading through chest high water in near total darkness - the only illumination being the thousands of glowworms dotting the ceiling. Sort of like kayaking without the daylight and going uphill instead of down.
